Ranau Rocks with RANPAXC 2017
RANAU, 13 MARCH 2017 – Stunning displays of aerial prowess illuminated the Ranau Paragliding Park in Sabah, Malaysia from 10 – 12 March, 2017. The Ranau Paragliding Accuracy & XC 2017 or RANPAXC 2017, organised by MSAF Paragliding Bureau, is the first ever Malaysia ranking paragliding competition held in Malaysia and it certainly didn’t disappoint those that were present to witness the spectacle of almost 100 paragliders in action.
Services Excellence For Performance Excellence
On 03 March 2017, the all-important Business Excellence (BizX) Industry Scheme Committee meeting was held at IPEC Bureau. The BizX Industry Scheme Committee plays a major role in the development of certification schemes for strategic management programmes such as the Lean Six Sigma and Services Excellence. The scheme for the former has already been implemented while for the latter, it’s in its final stages of development.
Professor Dr Ng Honoured At Beauty Unite Gala Dinner
It was a proud moment for IPEC Bureau at the recent Cosmobeauté Beauty Unite Gala Dinner and Awards Night organised by ECMI ITE ASIA SDN BHD. The Head of IPEC Bureau’s Beauty Science Industry Scheme Committee, Professor Dr Ng Wee Kiong, was honoured with the Cosmobeauté Inspiring People Award for his role in steering the regional beauty industry towards professional standardisation and quality control to help beauty establishments and practitioners gain recognition for their best practices and professional decorum.

TEP To Boost Human Capital Development
Kuala Lumpur, 18 February, 2016 - The door to international recognition for training and development establishments, will be opened on 20 February 2018. IPEC Bureau will launch the Training and Examination Provider campaign (TEP) for academies, training agencies, institutions, and the likes who wish to have their programmes – focused on the development of human capital – validated in consonance with international standards.
Positive Developments At The 4th Annual Beauty Science Committee Meeting
The fourth annual Beauty Science Committee meeting took place recently in conjunction with the landmark memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing between the Association of International Certified Aesthetician (AICA), Standards Malaysia and IPEC Bureau that began a new era of regulatory efficiency and certified competency in the regional beauty and aesthetic science scene. The meeting, led by the CEO of IPEC Bureau Dr Juliana Lim, featured AICA and the Science of Face Art Committee (the sub-committee of Beauty Science) for the first time.

Martial Arts to Enter A New Era of Standardisation & Global Mobility
KUALA LUMPUR - A new dawn will rise in global martial arts culture on 20 November, 2016 at the 2nd Federation of International Grandmasters Association’s (FIOGA) Annual World Grandmasters and Cultural Networking Gala Dinner. The collaboration between FIOGA and IPEC Bureau – which began in 2015 and focused strongly on efforts to standardise the martial arts industry – will formally introduce the ISO / IEC 17024 Certification of Persons through the Sport Science Mastership Certification Scheme.

Malaysia’s Beauty & Aesthetic Science landscape will enter a landmark phase of progress on 03 November, 2016. A press conference session was held at the Sabah Tourism office yesterday for the inaugural ASEAN IPEC Retreat Convention 2015. A team from Bureau of Laboratory Personnel Development (BLPD), a division under the Department of Science Service, Ministry of Science and Technology Thailand, is in Kuala Lumpur today, September 28, 2015 for a three-day visit. The delegation from Thailand is led by Dr. Junpen Meka-Apiruk, the Director of BLPD. The main objective of the visit is to study a potential bilateral ties between the Government of Thailand and Malaysia on the ISO/IEC 17024 Certification of Persons subject.
